Holiday Light Trail Results
Vincent Patrick Realty’s 4th annual holiday decorating contest was a huge success! Here are the Holiday Light Trail Results; This year we had a total of 60 houses and businesses on the trail. Each house was decorated with tons of lights and holiday décor. Viewers got to take the trail and vote for the house they thought should win. In total, there were 480 votes. The top two houses had a whopping 110 and 109 votes! Way to go!
We want to take a big moment to say thank you to all of the participants. We appreciate all of the time and effort put into each display. We know it takes time, money, and plenty of hard work to create the magical displays. We would not be able to host the trail without the participants!

Second Place Winner for the Holiday Light Trail
Congratulations to VP Realty’s Holiday Light Trail second place winner, #56. Valerie and Brian Conoway, in Southington, had a beautiful display with lots of lights! The display was in honor of Valerie’s mother. “She was the elf behind the display known for many years as ‘The Christmas House on Bartlett Road’ in Mantua.” Santa and Mrs. Claus visited with children at house #56. They passed out candy canes during their visit, on December 16th and 17th. We hope to see you guys on the trail next year!
Let’s meet the Holiday Light Trail first place winners!
When it comes to first place, Rachel and David Grabowski (#18), and David and Rachel Igo (#57), are champions of the annual Holiday Light Trail. For several years running, they go out of their way to make a grand display for Northeast Ohio to enjoy.
The Grabowski’s display, titled “Christmas at the Grabowski’s” in Garrettsville is one to remember. Most of the display is put together by David, according to Rachel. “I like making sure that Dave gets a lot of credit,” Rachel said. “He makes it happen! I do the interior decorations and he does the entire outside display.”
Rachel has been decorating for over ten years. Together, David and Rachel have been decorating for eight years. They have put a lot of work to get their display where it is today, and they love adding to the display each year. Their favorite part of the holidays is having time to spend with family. We cannot wait to see, “Christmas at the Grabowski’s”, next year!
If you’re out in North Benton, the Igo’s display is hard to miss. “Igo’s Griswald Christmas Light Show” is beloved by the community. The neighbors love it for the synchronized light show. The Igo’s are proud of their display, but they take even more pride in knowing how much joy it brings to those who come to see it during the holiday season. The neighborhood has taken it upon themselves to join in. In addition to joining the light show, several neighbors joined in the fun with displays of their own this year.
They have been decorating for five years, and they do not plan on stopping! This year, the Igo’s featured 73 channels synchronized with their display. Next year, they plan to have 144 synchronized channels! Make sure to check out the “Igo’s Griswald Christmas Light Show” on the Holiday Light Trail in 2023.
